Properties 101
- •Properties are things you buy that unlock content.
- •Week 1 solo player: buy nothing until Farm Raid, then save for Kosatka.
- •Apartment = original team heists. Kosatka = Cayo solo.
- •Office, Arcade, Facility = later content. Skip at first.
- •Yacht, nightclub, bunker = not for beginners.
What is a property?
Buildings or vehicles you purchase with GTA dollars. They unlock missions, heists, or passive income. You do not need any property to start Online, only to unlock specific content.
Recommended buy order (solo beginner)
1) Nothing at first: do Contact Missions and Farm Raid. 2) Kosatka submarine ($2.2M): unlocks Cayo Perico, best solo money. 3) Later, if you have friends: cheap high-end apartment (~$200K) for team heists. Everything else can wait.
What each property type unlocks
High-end Apartment: original 5 Online heists (need friends). Kosatka: Cayo Perico heist (solo). Office (Maze Bank): CEO/VIP work and crate missions. MC Clubhouse: motorcycle businesses. Arcade: Diamond Casino Heist. Facility: Doomsday Heist. Bunker/Nightclub: business grinding (complex, late game).
Tip: See the Businesses hub for MC, Bunker, and Nightclub step-by-step guides.
What to skip in week one
Yachts, Arena War, most supercars, nightclub, bunker, and multiple apartments. They drain cash without helping you learn the basics. Shark Cards (real money) are optional.
Tip: One property goal at a time. Kosatka first for solo players.
