Bunker Business: Step by Step

What is the Bunker?

The Bunker is an underground facility for the Gunrunning business. You stock supplies, staff manufacture weapons over time, and you run sell missions to deliver the product. Unlike MC businesses, production is slower but sell missions can be simpler and the Bunker feeds into your Nightclub warehouse later.
Tip: Buy a Bunker after Cayo and ideally after your first MC business is running.

Step 1: Buy a Bunker

Phone → Maze Bank Foreclosures → Bunkers, or visit bunker icons on the map (mostly Blaine County). Cheapest bunkers start around $1.1 million. Location matters slightly for sell mission travel time. Ppopular picks include Farmhouse and Chumash bunkers for reasonable routes.
Tip: Avoid the most expensive locations unless you like the view. Production speed is the same everywhere.

Step 2: Essential upgrades

Inside the Bunker, use the laptop to purchase: Staff Upgrade (required, staff manufacture while you are offline in Online), Equipment Upgrade (faster production), and optionally Security (reduces raid frequency). Skip aesthetic upgrades early.

Approaches:Minimum viable: Staff + Equipment. Add Security if you get raided often.

Tip: Budget ~$1M+ on top of the Bunker price for upgrades before expecting smooth income.

Step 3: Stock supplies

Buy supplies on the laptop or run Steal Supplies missions from inside the Bunker. One full supply bar converts to one product bar over time (longer than MC without upgrades). Steal missions include convoy hijacks and theft runs. Ssoloable but slower than buying.
Tip: Many players buy supplies with Cayo money and focus playtime on sells.

Step 4: Production and research

Toggle manufacturing on the laptop. Staff convert supplies to product automatically. You can also assign staff to Research instead of manufacturing, research unlocks weaponized vehicle upgrades (Oppressor missiles, etc.) but slows income. Income-focused players manufacture only until the Bunker is paid off.

Approaches:Manufacturing = money now. Research = unlocks later. Do not mix until you understand the toggle.

Step 5: Sell product

Launch a Sell Mission from the laptop. Local sale: one delivery truck, easier solo, lower payout (~$1M max at full stock on bonuses). Los Santos sale: multiple vehicles, higher payout, longer route, more vulnerable to players. Solo players often choose Local or switch to Solo session before selling.
Tip: Sell in a Solo Public session if you keep losing product to griefers.

Step 6: Link to Nightclub (later)

Once you own a Nightclub, hire a technician assigned to Gunrunning. The Nightclub slowly copies Bunker product into its warehouse without stopping Bunker production. This lets you sell MC + Bunker goods together in one Nightclub sale.
Tip: See the Nightclub guide after your Bunker and MC coke lab are running.

Bunker raids

Occasionally the Bunker gets raided if you sell often and lack Security upgrade. You lose product if you fail to defend. Restock and consider Security upgrade if raids happen repeatedly.

Common mistakes

Buying the most expensive Bunker first with no upgrade budget. Leaving research on accidentally while wondering why no product appears. Attempting Los Santos sells solo in hostile public sessions. Expecting Bunker income to beat Cayo Perico hour-for-hour.
